Tony the Gorilla Turns 52: A Remarkable Age and Daily Care

🙏💚 Despite the hardships of wartime, we continue to care for the comfort and well-being of our animals every day, taking into account the characteristics of each species and their individual needs.

🦍 Today, our Tony turns 52. In human terms, that is over 90 years old. He is the only gorilla in Ukraine and one of the oldest gorillas in Europe🌍

☝️ Like any senior, our “grandpa” has age-related needs that require the constant attention of specialists. Thanks to the daily care provided by our team of zoologists and veterinarians, a balanced diet 🥦🍎, and specially designed physical exercises 🏀, he has everything he needs to feel well and remain active – at his own calm and unhurried pace.

🎁🍉🍇 This weekend, we have prepared a special feeding enrichment activity for Tony – an extra serving of his favourite treats presented in an unusual way. Even an ordinary breakfast can become an engaging activity that stimulates natural curiosity and supports physical activity.
