Watermelon Weekend for the Residents of Kyiv Zoo’s Ungulate Row

🍁🍉☝️ Seasonal treats are more than just something tasty – they are an important part of the ongoing animal care process and environmental enrichment. Changes in the enclosures and variety in the animals’ diets are both necessary and beneficial for them, while also being especially interesting for our visitors.

🦌🐂🐫🦓 This weekend, the residents of the Ungulate Row and their neighbours will enjoy juicy, ripe watermelons:

11:50 – guanacos and rheas;
11:55 – muntjacs;
12:00 – nilgai;
12:05 – zebras.
