The Rescued African Greys Parrots Returned to Their Summer Aviary!
🦜🪜 For the comfort and active leisure of the birds, there are tree branches, various perches and feeders, climbing structures, swings, a sandbox, and rope courses. Since these parrots enjoy water activities, a decorative pool-fountain has been placed in their apartment ⛲💦
❤️🩹 These parrots were handed over to Kyiv Zoo by the police in the spring of 2022. Since then, they have been undergoing a long process of rehabilitation, adaptation, and socialization under the care of our zoologists and veterinarians.
☝️ In the wild, the population of African greys parrots continues to decline due to illegal capture and habitat loss, making the conservation of these amazing birds particularly important.
