Final Watermelon Weekend at Kyiv Zoo
🍁🐘🦛 On the last weekend of September, our largest residents – Horace the elephant and Lily the hippo – will be enjoying juicy watermelons.
☝️ Watermelon Weekends are part of our environmental enrichment programme for the zoo animals. For Horace and Lily, they add something tasty and beneficial to their daily diet, while visitors have a chance to watch our giants enjoy this special treat 💚
