Renovated Aviary for Rescued Birds
🏡🦜 A large and noisy flock of various rescued parrots, saved by Kyiv Zoo during the war, continues their rehabilitation in their summer aviary. This season, the “interior” of their home has been renovated with new elements for activity, exploration, and relaxation: comfortable perches, natural ropes, wooden ladders, exciting climbing structures, interesting toys, and appealing chew items 🪜🌿🪢
☝️🪶 Bird rehabilitation involves not only special care and a balanced diet but also the surrounding environment, which encourages the birds to be active and allows them to exhibit their natural behaviors. That’s why we are constantly improving our aviaries and adding new enrichment elements.
