Tony the Gorilla’s Birthday

🥳 Tomorrow, August 8th, is a special date at Kyiv Zoo: our incredible Tony turns 51 years old! 🎂🦍

✅🧮 By human standards, that’s over 90 – and Tony is not only the only gorilla in Ukraine but also one of the oldest gorillas in Europe 🌍

☝️ Like any elderly individual, our “grandpa” has his own age-related needs that require constant attention from specialists. Thanks to the daily care of our team of zoologists and veterinarians, a balanced diet 🥦🍎, and special physical exercises 🏀, Tony has everything he needs to feel good and stay active every day – in his calm, measured rhythm filled with familiar joys💚

🎁🥗🌿 In honor of this event, a special birthday picnic will be organized for Tony at his favorite green pasture.
