Zoo-therapeutic project “The Good Phasmatidae”
War destroys both physically and psychologically. Constant stress leads to serious consequences so programs for emotional relief are urgently needed today.
One of such interesting projects is carried out by our zoo specialists. Depending on the needs of children and adults we can conduct a thematic excursion, zoological art class, mini-lecture or tactile interaction with domestic animals.
Since the beginning of the year about 800 participants have already passed this program – these are children from the affected regions, military personnel as well as patients of children’s and adult medical institutions.
And now a new program has started – “The Good Phasmatidae”. And the first to receive smiles and a good mood were 21 children from Bakhmut. After the informative eco-educational excursion, the kids met these incredible and beautiful insects – real Phasmatidae.
Zoo-therapeutic project “The Good Phasmatidae” implements the most modern Western methods of psychological rehabilitation in Ukraine.
