We thank our German and Austrian colleagues!
The full-scale invasion has become a difficult test for the entire zoological community of Ukraine. To the constant danger and blackouts was added the problem connected with the lack of specific professional fodder for animals of various species. After all, thanks to these dry, long-storable granulated mixes we can feed our animals during air alarms and blackouts. And this, as much as possible under the given conditions, ensures their comfort and well-being, which are always in the first place for us.
Once again, our colleagues from Zoo Berlin and Tierpark Berlin, Zoo Vienna Schönbrunn and Alpenzoo Innsbruck – Tirol are once again helping our zoo. They collected professional granulated feeds for us – as much as 18 tons on 27 pallets. And this became a real Christmas gift not only for permanent residents of Kyivzoo, but also for a large number of wild animals from the affected regions of Ukraine, to whom the zoo provided rescue and shelter.
🙏🇩🇪🇦🇹 We express our sincere gratitude to our German and Austrian friends! Your help gives us strength and encouragement. Together we will get through these difficult times and our common cause of saving and preserving wildlife will continue and develop!
