The warmth of good deeds – zoo rehabilitation project “The Good Phasmatidae”

🙏💚 The warmth of good deeds warms you at any time of the year so we continue implementing our zoo rehabilitation project “The Good Phasmatidae”. This time we were visited by families cared for by the Caritas Kyiv Charitable Foundation. All guests received a lot of good emotions, charge of positivity and the necessary psychological relief.

👪 In 2023 more than 50 k participants from more than 40 public organizations, rehabilitation centers, medical institutions and charitable foundations took part in this program – these are children and their families from affected regions, military personnel, forced migrants, as well as patients of children’s and adult medical institutions.

🐾 This gives us the opportunity to bring peace and joy to the hearts of children and adults burned by war. For them, together with our furry, scaly and winged assistants, we create a space where they can feel safe, supported and loved.

☝️ According to experts, communication with animals in a relaxed environment relieves tension and stress, improves mood and significantly improves the psycho-emotional state of participants.
