Spurred Tortoises in the Green Farms
🐢💚 Among the hundreds of animals rescued from the war at Kyiv Zoo, nearly two dozen are spurred tortoises. Each of them requires a long rehabilitation and socialization process in conditions close to their natural habitat.
🌿🥕🥬 We have created picturesque farms where the tortoises live in separate groups. Sunshine, green grasses and bushes, shady hideouts and wooden shelters, sandy pools, delicious vitamin-rich food and friendly neighbors are exactly what they need for a comfortable life.
☝️📍 Recently, the first group of five rescued spurred tortoises moved to their summer farm on the Central Alley. And our familiar visitor, Cheburek, has returned to his summer home by the «Desert» pavilion.
