Spring migration of monk parrots
☀️🌿🪶 Spring is a special time for birds when they actively prepare for creation of new families and the appearance of chicks. In this period when nature wakes up from its winter sleep, we keep a particularly close eye on our feathered inhabitants of Kyiv Zoo.
☝️🌡️🦜 So, with the arrival of the first warm days our birds move to outdoor sunny homes. One of these haciendas is the new monk parrot aviary. So now you can watch the antics of a bunch of green brawlers in a summer house right behind the Siamang hacienda at the Central Zoo entrance.
