Spring Addition to the Nilgai Antelope Family
🌱💚 Spring in nature is a time of awakening and reproduction. Some are forming new pairs, some are awaiting offspring, and some are already taking their little ones for their first outdoor walks. Our nilgai antelopes Malik and Mushka have begun their first nature lessons with their recently born calves Midzhai and Maruna 🐐🐐
☝️ Although the calves are still being nourished by their mother’s milk🍼, they are actively enjoying “adult” green feed🌿and exploring the surrounding world under their parents’ watchful eyes.
✅ The young family is already preparing new green pastures for their addition, so they will have a new home waiting for them in the summer 🏡🌳
📅 🍽️☘️ This weekend (April 11-12), there will be a feeding demonstration for the hoofed family, which can be observed at 12:00 at the end of the hoofed animal section near the elephant house.
