Rescued servals

💙💛 We continue to introduce you to the inhabitants of Kyiv Zoo, who were rescued from the affected regions of our country.

🙏 🐱🐱🐱🐱  A group of 4 servals found themselves in the very center of the war – in Kurakhove, near Maryanka in Donetsk region. Thanks to the heroic efforts of zoo activists the animals were taken out of shelling and transferred to Kyiv Zoo. The animals were in terrible condition: sick, exhausted and in a state of severe stress. Our veterinarians and zoologists immediately began emergency treatment and recovery measures.

💚🐾  2 months passed and the first pair of servals moved to the next stage of rehabilitation and socialization already in their own enclosure. For the comfort of Osiris and Sehmet we have created all the necessary conditions: an African tree with climbing frames and claw points, 2 hammocks and a cozy loft for relaxation, fountain for cheerfulness, three types of soil and a stone rock for walking and jumping and a lot of various toys and pillows as servals are cats 😼😽

☝️  In order to bring the conditions even closer to natural ones, 3 types of lighting are installed in the enclosure: solar-daylight, twilight-infrared, and nighttime moonlight ☀✨🌙
