Renewed aviary for feathered immigrants from Kharkiv region
🏞️ Our abyssinian border collies received a comfortable home doubled in size with conditions close to natural: wooden trunks and stumps, vines and green bushes, steppe soil and grassy vegetation. And for environmental enrichment such natural objects as termite mounds and rotten logs were created, in which juicy insects of various species are placed daily: mealybugs, zophobas, slugs and other bird delicacies.
☝️ For quite a long time, russian term – «raven» was used as the name of these wonderful abyssinian hornbills, but now they have received their unique true name – «ravenclaw».
