New Year’s exposition of Platon’s reticulated python

🎄❄️ According to the Eastern calendar, in January the Dragon will be replaced by the Snake. In Asian countries, this reptile is considered wise and patient and at the same time flexible and ready for any rapid changes.

🏠 🎁 In honor of the new symbol of the year the exposition of our Platon the reticulated python has been modernized in the Island of Animals’ pavilion, whose length reaches 7.5 m and weight is over 120 kg. So his apartments are appropriate: on 18 sq. meters there is a SPA zone and a relaxation room. All this allows our Platon to keep himself in shape – swimming and climbing trees to a height of up to 3 meters. And pythons love to rub their snake skin against various wooden surfaces, especially during molting, so in addition to the trees, the floor of the terrarium is covered with special wood mulch and wood chips for Plato’s comfort.

✅  For the New Year, Plato was given a thematic enrichment of the environment – by placing various pillows, fragrant shavings and tactile blankets in the enclosure.
