New Space for Golden-headed Lion Tamarins

🐒🌿The smallest primates at Kyiv Zoo are stepping out into the exhibit!

🙏🏞️ Back in 2017, zoo volunteers rescued several Golden-headed Lion Tamarins and brought them for rehabilitation to Kyiv Zoo. A large, cozy enclosure with all the necessary equipment was created for these little monkeys on the service territory 🙈

☝️🏡 Now, the group of these active troublemakers has adapted so well and grown so much that we have set up a new space for their further socialization and change of environment, this time in an area accessible to visitors 😍

👌🧡 In their new apartments, various wooden structures, climbing branches, ladders, and ropes have been installed, along with a picnic feeding table and a refreshing little fountain for the comfort of the fluffy red creatures .To provide a resting area for the tamarins, a house with viewing glass has been created in the enclosure 🪟
