New home for rescued birds
🦜🦜🦜 A large group of budgerigars that entered Kyiv Zoo during the war moved to their new summer enclosure.
☝️ Treatment of birds is a complex and long-term process. After all, it is necessary not only to restore the animal physically but also to restore a normal psychological state and socialize it into a group of its own kind.
🏞️ It is precisely for this that new and new natural aviaries are created where birds are part of flocks directly in Kyiv Zoo park – in the fresh air among green bushes and trees. The new aviary is designed for the comfortable living of twenty budgerigars for which nests, tree branches, ropes and swings, accessories and feeders are arranged. The bottom of the aviary is lined with wooden mulch.
🐦💚🥗 Rescued parrots enjoy grain food, vegetables and fruits and quickly recover their strength in a friendly noisy flock. You can see them in the square opposite the elephant. Come to visit!
