IX Annual Advanced Training Courses “ZOO AFFAIR 2025”

Today the IX Annual Advanced Training Courses “ZOOAFFAIR 2025” begin at Kyiv Zoo with the participation of leading specialists from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odessa, Cherkasy, Rivne and other zoological institutions that have chosen the European vector of development.

For almost three years Ukrainian zoo community together with the entire country has been living and working in conditions of an unprecedented large-scale racist military attack. And we are all learning together to conduct our activities in these extraordinary conditions. The war is reflected not only in professional work but also in psycho-emotional state of the population – our visitors. All this requires new competence and new special approaches. Therefore, we are studying international experience and together with our Ukrainian colleagues are creating a new unique system of work that meets military realities.

Continuous improvement and training are extremely important for that part of zoological community of Ukraine that has chosen to adhere to modern European standards of environmental protection and animal welfare.
