Humanitarian Aid from Loro Parque Zoo (Tenerife)
🐾🏠 In these challenging times Kyiv Zoo has joined the effort to rescue wild animals suffering from the aggression of the occupiers. Some of these animals after treatment and rehabilitation are returned to the wild, while others are transferred to various conservation facilities and a significant number remain under our care. This requires construction of new enclosures, terrariums and aviaries which we build ourselves. Therefore, construction materials are critically needed, especially specialized ones tailored for zoological purposes.
🙏🇪🇸 We are incredibly grateful for the humanitarian aid from our friends at Loro Parque in Spain – 5,000 linear meters of specialized galvanized mesh, combining high strength, weather resistance and safety for birds. This type of mesh is the most sought-after and versatile for creating modern aviaries 🪶
