Green haciendas for spurred tortoises
🐢💚 Among the hundreds of animals rescued from war in KyivZoo, almost 2 dozen are spurred tortoises. And each of them needs a long rehabilitation and socialization in conditions close to natural ones.
🌿🥕🥬 So, three additional picturesque haciendas have been created in our park where tortoises live in separate groups. Sun, green grass and bushes, shady shelters and wooden sheds, sand pools, delicious vitamin food and good neighbors – exactly what is needed for a comfortable life of our rescued inhabitants.
