Father’s Day

On June 16, Kyivzoo hosted a city-wide event on the occasion of Father’s Day under the slogan “Father’s heart keeps in touch!”. More than 500 people were invited to the holiday, including children of fallen soldiers, members of large families, including recipients of the capital’s social services..

On the initiative of the Children and Family Service of Kyiv City State Administration together with Kyiv City Center of Social Services and volunteers from other social organizations of the city, dozens of various events with interesting prizes and tasty gifts were held on the territory of the zoo.

👪 Children and parents were able to join the work of patriotic creative locations and centers of psychological assistance, such as:

✅ interactive entertainment program “Father’s heart keeps in touch”;

✅ Interactive location of the International Parenting Center;

✅ “TatoHub” project;

✅ Location of Shevchenkiv district organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine in Kyiv;

✅ Interactive and advisory location of the Family and Women’s Center of Shevchenkiv district;

✅ “Father’s workshop” (making houses for the furry inhabitants of Kyiv Zoo – small and large rodents);

✅ Interactive location of BO “BF “Caritas-Kyiv”;

✅ Interactive and advisory location of Shevchenkivsky district center of social services in Kyiv;

Zoo visitors and their families willingly participated in the events.
