Day of Veterinary Medicine employees

Today is the Day of Veterinary Medicine employees. Dedication to the work, intelligence and understanding of animals life processes are a small part of the character traits of a real veterinarian. And the main thing is a great desire to come to help at the first call.
For nowadays Kyiv Zoo has created a team of professionals and specialists who understand what a modern European zoo is. And their main feature is a great desire to constantly learn and gain new experience.

✅ We are constantly in touch with our colleagues from European zoos and consult with Berlin Institute of Wildlife Veterinary Medicine.

Since the first days of the war the load on our veterinary service has increased in many times. Only in 2022 year we sheltered more than 400 animals from different parts of our country that suffered from racist aggression. And each of them was examined, the necessary veterinary and quarantine measures were carried out with each of them, and lives of most of them were saved 🙏

👨‍⚕👩‍⚕ Today we congratulate the Head of the department of veterinary medicine Vitaly Kobylinskyi and all employees of the department: Oleksandra Melnyk, Iryna Blazheeva, Yuliya Zaruda, Lyudmila Mutsei, Dmytro Grubrin and Valentina Mryasova and our vet consultant Maria Shkankina.
