Birthday of our Bayraktarchyk the ring-tailed lemur
Today we celebrate the birthday of our Bayraktarchyk the ring-tailed lemur?
In fact, he appeared prematurely on the 3rd of March to the roar of cannonade but only after a week of fighting for his life we realized that the cub would live! His mother, frightened by the war, left him and we became his “parents” 24/7.
Now Bayraktar is a healthy, beautiful and strong lemur, as befits such a name ? And he is back to his big monkey family and met his little sister Javelina ?
And right now we sheltered a lemur named Tim, who suffered from a racist shelling of Kherson shopping center where there was a petting zoo. Activists rescued the burnt and injured animal and transferred it to the Wild Animal Rescue Center for further treatment and rehabilitation.
And Kyivzoo has become a new home for Tim ? He is currently undergoing quarantine in our veterinary hospital and then he will meet new friends as company is very important for ring-tailed lemurs!
