Bear lands
☝️ One of the main tasks of modern zoos which take care of reproduction and preservation of planet’s animal world is to create conditions close to natural for their inhabitants.
🐻🏞️ So, this year before the spring awakening of the bears we improved their territory:
✅ We installed 2 drinking fountains, 4 hammocks, a wooden platform for daytime rest, a drum feeder, an alpine slide and also filled the forest soil that was abundantly planted with raspberry bushes and fruit trees, between which lawns covered with various herbs and bright wildflowers spread out. A special sprinkler system has been installed to support this green oasis 💦 🌿🌺
😍🔭 The bears welcomed this update spending days exploring the area. Therefore, viewers sometimes have to look for copepods among fallen trunks, stone grottoes and forest greenery 🪵🪨🌳🌲
🍎🥕🫓🐟 But walks are walks and none of our furry giants will refuse a hearty lunch which they enjoy between 12:00 and 12:30.
