A new water toy for little baboons

🐒 A group of monkeys’ cubs in a 1x1m box was brought to Kyiv Zoo in March 2022 with a big request to SAVE. This is how our monkey “kindergarten” was created.

Now the rescued baboons are more than one year old. Since these are “children” they cannot do without mischief and entertainment. So we constantly create various interesting things for them.

💦 A month ago we set up an artificial pond for our little ones taking into account their active behavior and character traits. In the first week the little brawlers very quickly pointed out to us the “flaws” of the design and “demanded” improvements 🙃

🥗🥚🥩🥜 Games in the fresh air and in water stimulate healthy appetite in the best way! So, after getting enough the little ones started to have lunch which included: boiled eggs, beef, peas and beans, nutritious porridge with the addition of oil and honey, vegetables, fruits, berries and a lot of vitamin greens. And they happily crunch young corn, nuts, sunflower seeds and refresh themselves with chilled teas and compotes 😋

Rescued “children” quickly gain strength and grow! And we continue to give them love and care 💚
