Feline Weekend in Kyiv Zoo’s Fruit Orchard
🍁🐾 What could be more enchanting than our autumn fruit orchard glowing in shades of crimson and gold? Only its graceful, fluffy residents: servals Hor, Isis, Sekhmet and Osiris, lynx Stepan and Savannah cat Malya, all rescued during the war, as well as our very own European wildcat Simon 🐈
✅😻 Like all felines, they love feasting on fresh meat, sharpening their claws, running, jumping and playing with a variety of toys. Their naturalistic enclosures provide everything they need for these activities, while our zookeepers regularly carry out environmental enrichment to encourage the animals’ natural behaviour, curiosity and playfulness.
☝️😸 This weekend, 7 and 8 November at 12:00, visitors will be able to watch our feline residents playing with specially prepared toys and discovering tasty treats in the fruit orchard at Kyiv Zoo!
📍😽 Come and enjoy some good vibes!
❗ During air raid alerts, enrichment demonstrations will be paused and will resume once the all-clear is given.
