Kyiv Zoo’s Young Naturalists: The Future of Zoo Conservation and Animal Care
👦👧🔬📚 Kyiv Zoo’s Young Naturalists Club continues its activities, taking breaks only during air raid alerts. Our young explorers study zoology, ecology and veterinary medicine while gaining practical experience in caring for the various animals at the Young Naturalists’ Centre.
☝️🐇🐭🦡 They also play an important role in socialising therapy animals, which provide emotional and psychological support to Ukrainian service personnel in military hospitals, children in hospitals, people displaced from war-affected areas of our country, and others in need through the animal-assisted therapy project «The Good Phasmatidae».
👏🇺🇦 🌿🐾 We are proud of our young naturalists, as they are the future of Ukraine’s zoological community!
